The Christmas Carol: The Spirit of the Season Brought to Life

Project type

sculpture

Date

December 2024

Location

Anderson, Indiana

The Christmas Carol exhibit is a heartfelt tribute to Charles Dickens' timeless holiday classic. Featuring a blend of artistry and storytelling, this exhibit immerses viewers in the transformative journey of Ebenezer Scrooge as he is guided by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.

At the center of the display is a 12-foot Christmas tree adorned with handcrafted ornaments and decorations, each inspired by themes and characters from Dickens’ beloved story. A signature mannequin art piece serves as the angelic tree topper, embodying the spirits that guide Scrooge through his redemptive journey. Visitors can also admire intricate, upcycled ornaments and festive details that evoke the spirit of Victorian England.

The exhibit debuted at the Atown Center, where it brought the warmth and message of the story to life. Its focus on reflection, redemption, and the joy of giving made it a seasonal highlight, captivating audiences of all ages and reminding us all of the enduring magic of A Christmas Carol.
